challenge & goals

The largest challenge we faced was creating a strong, distinctive brand while avoiding the generic iconography common in the medical field. We aimed to steer clear of overused symbols like the Caduceus and hearts while ensuring our brand was unmistakably healthcare-related. This required a creative approach, extensive brainstorming, market research, and design iterations to develop a unique visual identity that clearly conveyed innovation and trustworthiness.

The logo was inspired by the image of a person running free from pain, subtly incorporating a plus sign. The colors were chosen to resemble the scrubs commonly seen in hospitals, creating a sense of familiarity and comfort, while also representing the Alberta healthcare system. The font was selected for its friendly, casual demeanor, enhancing the approachable and caring nature of our brand.

Clarity was paramount in our website design. Our top priority was to present information quickly and cleanly. To achieve this, we utilized large text and bento boxes, creating easily digestible and understandable sections. This design choice ensures visitors can swiftly navigate and absorb the content, enhancing their overall user experience and efficiency in finding the information they need.
